Hammered Serving Pieces @ West Elm

Some really beautiful and inexpensive serveware are available at West Elm. These hammered serving pieces caught my eye. Love the texture and the quality of the reflection the surface gives.

Hammered Serveware. Bowl, $24. Dip Bowl, $5. Tray, $9.

More Resto Love

I love glass objects. I don’t know why. I saw the above while lingering for the millionth time at Resto‘s site today. These Grand Scale Jars are so gorgeous. The shape is so elegant, much more refined than the shapes I’m used to seeing. Even the simpler Apothecary Jars are cleanly designed and proportionately perfect. If only I had a huge bathroom to put these in…

Apothecary Jars, $49-$89 separately or the set of three for $159. Grand Scale Glass Jars, $59-$69.

Reef Tea Set

I got the latest Anthropologie catalog in the mail and absolutely loved the Reef Tea Set. How perfect would this be for summer? I’m imagining this set at my (very imaginary) house on the Cape. Sigh. So beautiful.

Teapot, $68. Cup & Saucer, $18. Sugar Bowl, $18. Creamer, $18.

Molo Float

My friend Emily turned me on to Molo‘s Float glassware and we spied a display of it at ICFF. Loved how the liquid is suspended and the glass itself is so apparently well made and delicate. Loved both the frosted (fritted) and the clear. The range includes wine glasses, creamers, carafes (lanterns), and martini glasses.

Filippa K @ Scandinavian Design Center

Yiva Markstam from the Scandinavian Design Center sent me a lovely email introducing herself and the site which showcases the best in Scandinavian design. I found the above espresso cups while perusing the Glass & Porcelain section. Great colors with a graphic punch. There are way too many gorgeous things to post here from this site so please go and visit it yourself.

Kaas Glassworks

My fabulous coworker Stephen told me about Kaas Glassworks after shopping there in the West Village last weekend. Gorgeous découpaged trays, plates, paperweights and coasters with vintage graphics of flowers, plants and fashion. The above are coasters from the company that are being carried currently by Spiegel. If you’re in New York, visit the store… it is absolutely adorable.
