Bibhu Mohapatra Spring 2010

I’ve been loving Mr. Mohapatra’s work for J.Mendel ever since we covered it for Nirali back in 2005. Loved his debut solo collection… the color, the pleating details, everything. Looking forward to seeing more.

    Yes indeed, Bibhu’s work is amazing!

    I think this is his second collection, post J. Mendel.

    He resigned from his influential position as Design Director of J. Mendel, in September 2007, in order to have time to develop Fall 2009.

    I think, His debut solo collection was fall 2009.

    bibhu has got very strong visual concepts.I love his color combinations and the pleats that is put in each dress .I am mesmerized by the fall of the materials used.
