Si Scott

There is something lovely about hand lettering and embellishment as evidenced by the work of Si Scott… while looking through the work in the folio, an appreciation for hand lettering is truly realized. Be sure to watch the reel in which a piece is drawn from beginning to end. Beautiful stuff.

Audrey Hepburn Treasures

My fantastic sister got me this book for my birthday earlier this month and I’ve been a total slacker with posting it mostly because I just can’t find an image that will do this book justice. Audrey Hepburn Treasures is a gorgeously designed scrapbook featuring pages of glassine envelopes holding reproductions of Audrey Hepburn’s letters, premiere ticket stubs, pages from her scripts with her notes, birth announcements and over 200 photographs. The book goes through her life from a child growing up in Europe to her first film role in Roman Holiday. throughout her film career and ending with her charitable work for UNICEF. If you are a fan as I am, you must own this book. I can’t stop looking at it or pulling little mementos from the sleeves. You just have to see this.

Tretorn Rainboot

I’ve been looking for the perfect rain/snow boot all season. I hate buying a new pair of boots every winter season so I am willing to invest in a good quality boot that I won’t have to replace next year. As much as I love all the cute patterned Wellies girls are wearing in New York, they make me look like a little kid. I was really craving a rubber rain/snow boot that is tall and sleek. Last week I found the Swedish company Tretorn and immediately bought a pair of their rubber rain boots. Tall rubber boot, lined with fabric with stretchy side panels and a long zipper. Also, a cute wedge heel! It comes in a deep pink, brown and green. I’ll be sure to let you know how they are when I get them! (Be sure to check out the cute shoe boots, too!)

Sieger Dinnerware by Furstenburg

The My China Emperor Rim line from Sieger is so beautiful. Love the bird motif that’s carried from serving and dinner plates to pasta plates and saucers to footed bowls and teapots. Teriffic line… I’d love to see this mix and matched with white or gold plates. eTabletop.com is a site I just got introduced to from this month’s Lucky Mag. Some great tabletop pieces to be had on there plus they have a registry for all you marrieds-to-be!

From left top, clockwise: Serving Plate, Dinner Plate, Large Saucer, Bread Plate, Small Saucer. From $56 to $240.

Soixante Neuf

Love the jewelry at Soixante Neuf. Very delicate, great shapes and proportions. Check out the rings and fab bangles as well.

14kt Gold Vermeil Hoop with Mother of Pearl Drops, $145

Plume Press

The work at Plume Press is absolutely outstanding. Love this aesthetic, lots of flourishes and ornamentation. The color combinations are quirky without being too weird. Beautiful work.

Samples from Plume Press.
