The Perfect Start to Spring

It’s a gorgeous day here and I got a surprise from my office boo, Christie, this morning: POM Tea is pomegranate black tea and it’s ridiculously good. The perfect start to this morning. You know I’m a huge fan of this fruit and this tea is totally delicious and the packaging is awesome. The tea itself is brewed from premium whole tea leaves and is given a boost of POMx, “a highly-concentrated (and powerful) blend of polyphenol antioxidants” from pomegranates.

Great packaging, the top comes off and you can keep the bottle as a tall drinking glass. The label peels right off.

Cheree Berry

Totally sweet and proper retro style paired with gorgeous illustrations sets Cheree Berry apart. Cheree Berry used to work for Kate Spade before striking out on her own and there’s no denying her style is all hers. The color quality is amazing as is the level of detail in the illustrations she uses. Overall stunning, absolutely stunning work.

Stationery and announcements.

Matthew Curry

Graffiti influences and a dark, gritty feeling is what I think of when I see Matthew Curry‘s work. Great colors and form. Love the drips and drabs of paint and the quality of the brush strokes. MakingRoom Magazine has a great interview with Mr. Curry and he explains his process. His process is further illustrated in the step-by-step gallery of one of his works in the article.

Bucky Done Vogue

Great blurb in this month’s Vogue about the amazing M.I.A. The article tells us what we already know but I’m totally feeling that she’s got coverage in Vogue. Nummy. She looks amazing in the shot too. Click on the image above to read full blurb.

Oh so hot.

Magnolias Linens

Fantastic linens by a trio of desi women. Magnolias Linens began when Asema Asghar was planning her own wedding and was discouraged by linen selection. She asked her mother, who knew craftspeople in India, to help. After her wedding, Asema along with her mother and sister began Magnolias Linens. By working with talented seamstresses in India, the trio designs and produces linens, napkins, napkin rings and chair covers in gorgeous textures with fine work and patterns either as rentals or custom-made for your wedding.

In deep blue, these linens are designed and produced by Magnolias Linens.

Priya is twenty-nine. She lives in New York City. She art directs advertising for a luxury jewelry brand. She loves fizzy lemonade, Ladurée macarons, Jean Schlumberger jewels, vintage fashion advertising, Audrey Hepburn movies and letterpressed paper. She also loves her work.
